Sound Factory Dublin is the authorised repair center in Ireland for Fender and the family of FMIC brands including Gretsch, EVH, Jackson, Squire and more. This gives us access to genuine original replacement parts and service documentation.

Amp Service & Repair Costs

All our electronic repair work is carried out by a fully qualified electronic engineer with over 20 years experience in the field.

If we feel based on experience that an item may cost more to repair than it is worth, we will advise of this in advance of taking the item in. In most cases we will not accept uneconomical repairs.

There is an initial upfront €95 assessment/diagnostic fee. This fee covers the first 1 hour of labour and the majority of items are repaired within this window. After this, labour will be charged at €20 for each 15 minute segment of extra time spent. We will automatically repair up until a limit of €195 (excluding parts) unless specified in advance.

Where a customer does not want to proceed with a repair quote, where a repair is deemed economically not viable, or where we are unable to repair the item, the diagnostic fee is nonrefundable. Otherwise the diagnostic fee is credited toward the total repair fee.

Our standard warranty will cover a period of 3 months from the repair of the item. This includes components supplied and fitted by us but excludes consumables such as valves and speakers. Items brought to us exhibiting intermittent faults are only guaranteed for parts used and faults observed and rectified during testing.
